Harrisburg, PA – The Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania announces that at least 21 Libertarians were elected to office throughout the state in the 2023 election. Some election results are still pending. Libertarians were elected to positions such as Township Auditor, School Director, Borough Council and Constable. LPPA Chair Rob Cowburn described the achievement: “Last Tuesday was another advancement for the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania, adding to the growing number of elected officials who will carry the message of Liberty forward. Pennsylvania remains the state with more Libertarians elected to public office than the rest of the country combined.”
Libertarians were elected in the following counties: Adams, Berks, Butler, Centre, Erie, Lancaster, Luzerne, Lycoming, Northampton, Northumberland, Venango and Washington.
